Crossworlds - A Social App

How it works Crossworlds is an app that sets up weekly get-togethers between you and your friends.

Create a world, add your friends to it, and we'll send you one "social thing" a week, along with a date and time!

Features:

• Worlds are customizable! You can have Crossworlds send your friend group one activity every week, every two weeks, or even once every few months. It's all up to you.

• Use the basic activities we provide (ex. watch a movie) or create your own. Crossworlds will choose from whatever activities you provide and will only schedule activities on the days and times that you want.

• Coordinate with in-app chat as needed! Though this isn't a "chat app". The conversations will disappear once your real-life activity is finished!

Post your own thing

Need a partner for your afternoon hike? Or a quick gaming session? No need to wait on your weekly activity. Post your own invite and see who wants to join you.

Why Crossworlds?

Despite the rise of social media, it seems harder than ever to connect with others. Our busy schedules (school, work, etc.) make it quite difficult to keep up with the people in our lives. And let's be honest, reaching out to others can be awkward, and often no one wants to make the "first move".

That's where Crossworlds comes in. We've designed the app (which we like to call, a “social sidekick” rather than "social media") to do the hard work of coordinating get-togethers with the people you know, providing you a stress-free experience!
